The British Plastics Federation is hosting a conference to celebrate its 70 years as the Voice of Plastics in the UK. The conference will offer a penetrating exploration of the future of plastics. Keynote speakers will include a government minister.
Sessions include:
- The future role of manufacturing in the UK
- Specialist market sessions on packaging, automotive, healthcare, construction and electronics
- The evolving raw material supplier/customer relationship
- New materials and new markets
- Attracting the workforce of the 21st Century
- Lifestyles of the future and the role of plastics
The conference is to be held in a 19th century country mansion and church, set in beautiful parkland it occupies an elevated site on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
On 10th April 2003 the BPF is holding a gala dinner at the brand new Imperial War Museum in Manchester.
