In September 2001, the EPS Packaging Group donated two picnic benches made from recycled EPS Packaging to the two winners of Going For Green's 'Talking Rot' Competition in East Anglia. The schools the Ashbeach Primary School, Ramsey St Mary's and the Robert Kett Junior School, Wymondham came up with the best creative ideas to encourage people to reduce their rubbish and to compost more. As well as appearing in the local press both schools were featured on Anglia TV celebrating their prizes. Both schools were delighted with to win a picnic bench and were fascinated to learn that it had been made from recycled EPS Packaging!
