Using old EPS in the garden

The EPS Packaging GroPS paup and Tuscarora supported a Northampton schools composting tour that was jointly organised by the environmental charity, Going For Green, and the UK’s largest practical conservation charity, the BCTV.

The composting tour was organised to support the National Waste Awareness Month promoted by Going for Green. It is currently providing primary school children with hands-on experience and advice on how to make use of their kitchen and garden waste

The EPS Packaging Group supplied a Questions and Answers sheet that explained what E

ckaging is and how it can be re-used in pots and window boxes and even in compost.

Tuscarora donated a picnic bench (as seen in picture) made from recycled EPS as a prize for the school that wins the composting competition and will also be offering a tour of their site to the winning team.
