The Expanded Polystyrene Packaging Group joined the Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Waste Group (APSWG) on 30 March 2000.

The Group runs regular meetings, seminars and day forums in and around the Houses of Parliament offering a unique opportunity for the exchange of information.

Since its cross-party formation in April 1995, the APSWG has provided a network for constructive dialogue between central and local government, and all organisations affected by developments in the waste management field.

"We hope to develop links with the corporate members of the APSWG and with MPs and Peers who have an interest in environment and sustainability issues, to raise awareness about the recycling of expanded polystyrene and to develop new EPS recycling initiatives," explains Bridget Bouch, PR Manager, EPS Packaging Group.
