EPS group attends INTERPLAS '99
The EPS Group is represented at the only global polymers exhibition being held this year: Interplas'99.
The event, which has 1,250 exhibitors, offers visitors the opportunity to attend seminars, see the latest technology demonstrated and to meet the leading UK processors.
"Our stand is in the Processors' Village which has been set up and managed by the British Plastics Federation (BPF). The Village gives us the ideal venue to represent the UK EPS industry at Interplas'99 and we hope to meet hundreds of EPS users as well as our international colleagues’ says Andrew Barnetson, Environmental Affairs Manager for the EPS Group.
Barnetson is also presenting a seminar about the EPS industry in the rolling programme of seminars and interactive debates that is being held at the Incentive Centre. Visitors will have several opportunities to see presentations that are all offered on a first come first served basis and are free of charge.
"This is the first time we have attended an exhibition like this and we hope it will prove to be a useful, profile raising and networking outing for the Group", comments Andrew Barnetson.
"Our goal is to demonstrate that the UK EPS industry is cohesive and forward-looking and to inform exhibition delegates about the packaging and environmental benefits of EPS."
That day-to-day working experience across the UK will be invaluable for the EPS Packaging Group as it heads into the 21st Century.
