EPS: The Exceptional Packaging Solution DVD
The EPS Packaging Group has sent out 700 DVDs to schools in England, Wales and Scotland. The DVD has two short films; ‘An Unexpected Gift’ and ‘Packaging made from Beads’, both of which are suitable for educational use.
One pleased teacher emailed us to say:
“I am using the ‘The packaging made from beads’ in my teaching of Standard Grade Chemistry for S3, S4 pupils and Higher Chemistry pupils as it is excellent for several reasons with respect to the chemistry and science curriculum:
  The styrene monomer structure is shown

EPS and the untreated high density polymer is shown
Cost benefits are discussed compared to other products
The video, ‘An Unexpected Gift’ is excellent for S1 and S2 pupils in particular. I have evaluated the DVD for the rest of the Department and have most highly recommended its inclusion into our chemistry courses!
