EPS appears on Gardeners' World

On 3rd March Gay Search on BBC2's Gardeners' World demonstrated how EPS seed trays can broken up and used in pots to improve drainage.

EPS News would like to remind all gardeners that:

bullet point EPS packaging can be broken up and incorporated into garden compost. The benefits include an improvement in the aeration of the soil, less compost is required and the soil is lighter with better drainage.

bullet point EPS packaging can be broken up and used in window boxes, pots, tubs and hanging baskets in exactly the same way that many gardeners use broken ceramic or terracotta pots. The additional advantage of this is the EPS provides some extra insulation.
