Stone chooses EPS for designer packaging
Stone, the world-famous photographic agency, is using EPS to package its cutting-edge Quest photography book that is distributed to designers and advertising agencies all over the world.
Quest is aimed at creative professionals who are looking for the latest in conceptual photography and getting the right ‘look’ was vital. Chris Ashworth, Stone’s Design Director explains: “The design and packaging of Quest reflects our dynamic forward-thinking approach. The exceptionally light, expanded polystyrene box (25 x 25 x 8cm) has a rounded, space age feel.
“The packaging serves a dual purpose. It shows that contemporary design can combine with environmental considerations, be 100 per cent recyclable, ozone friendly and less wasteful to produce than cardboard.”
Stone collaborated closely with Danisco Pack, the makers of the Quest box, to get the beautifully modelled final result that combines elegant design with the highest standards of protective packaging to ensure that Quest arrives unbruised and in one piece.
